Free Career Seminar for Career Management
Professionals:
"Career Assessment and Development in the Age of Portfolio
Careers"
by career management specialist Terri Bruce, CWDP, JCTC
The rise of frequent career
changes and "portfolio careers" requires those in the career management
field to think differently about how career paths are defined, how
career changes are accomplished, and how skills are showcased to
potential employers when making a career change. In this workshop, you
will learn alternatives to traditional assessments for helping clients
to define skills and career goals, and how to help them showcase
existing skills in a way that makes sense to employers when making a
career change to what appears to be an unrelated field.
Author Q&A and Book Signing:
The Career Choice Manual: A 12-Step Guide for Figuring Out What
To Do With Your Life
After the seminar, Terri will
answer questions about and sign copies of her new career advice guide,
which will be available in bookstores and from Amazon.Com in May. The
CCM combines three career assessments, resource listings, and action
planning and goal setting exercises in one unique career guide that is a
great tool for career counselors to use with clients or for individuals
looking for career guidance to use by themselves. For more information
